My top 5 tips for teaching online

I’ve been teaching online for six weeks now and I thought I’d share my top 5 tips for teaching online based on what I’ve learned so far.

  1. Hi Eleni, great tips here. I’ll share this with our current CELTA trainees, who have had to make the shift to online teaching halfway through the course – it’s a steep learning curve for us all to say the least.

    1. Hi Jonny. I’m glad you found it useful. I can only imagine having to switch to online CELTA training. It’s tough enough face to face, so much to take in, let alone online, which is a completely different world and a lot of the methodology can’t be adapted or applied at all. How does it even work? Observing, giving feedback etc? Hope it all goes well!
