I’m at sea.

Swimming in the open.

I can’t see anything but water.

My legs are tired. Hundreds of life jackets around me.

But I don’t know which to grab.

I’m drowning.

Just choose one!

But what if the one I choose is leaking? What if it carries me away to more dangerous lands?

Just choose one, you’ll drown.

But what if…?

They found her body the next day, on the shore, right by her house.

Break

When you need to stop to take a breath,

when the world is too much, should I’ve stayed or left?

When you feel stuck and wonder, what the meaning of this is,

should I keep going or should I just exist?

Stop.

Take a deep breath.

Get lost in a book, forget all the rest.

In magical worlds, in fairy tales, with angels and devils.

In Wonderland.

It’s not a great poem, it may not rhyme,

but I truly hope I made you smile 🙂

Books

Sometimes…

Sometimes

I think I’m going crazy.

My mind playing tricks.

A storm.

A storm of thoughts

Worries

Will I ever make it?

Insecurities

Am I good enough?

Melancholy

I’m stuck

Panic

I’m running out of time!

Despair

I’ll never get out of this.

Is this it?

It can’t be it.

But then,

then I remember.

Love

My family

My people

My dog

My guitar

My favourite memory of the sea

The beauty of the world

The destination

New beginnings

Fresh start

I take a deep breath…

and the storm eases.

The rain stops.

I’m ready.

Ready to do it all over again.

Ready for the next day.

Amen

My little poem for World Poetry Day

They say we only live once,

and that should be enough.

Be happy, life goes on.

Keep moving on.

It’s OK to struggle every now and then.

‘Cause we are only humans and we try our best.

Love with all your heart  and live life to the full

You never know when it’s your time to go too.

Always remember  to trust and

love yourself.

Do what makes you happy

and forget the rest.
